AGARTALA, Dec 17 (TIWN): Recently one woman who is rickshaw driver, named Soma, carrying her baby while driving the rickshaw---- such footages have been viral across social media.

People blamed that Govt is not helping her child and keeping in home.

However, today the counter blame came from the Govt side as the Child Welfare Dept alleged that she was asked many times to keep her child in children’s home in day time, but she is unready to do but due to her denials now such footages are damaging state’s image.

Today in front of media, when she was asked to take Govt help, Soma denied saying earlier her husband took her child like this in home and till day she didn’t get her child back.

Child Welfare Dept has expressed doubts on her statement and said, unlike her many poor women keep their babies in home and in road “A child can have no future”.
