New York / Agartala, Dec 16 (TIWN): Tripurainfoway.com (TIWN) Editor Saumen Sarkar on Saturday while addressing from USA slammed the Biplab Deb Govt for the ongoing attacks upon the fourth pillar of democracy.Terming Biplab Deb’s ruling with Saddam era, Saumen Sarkar said, “I run Tripurainfoway.com from USA to publish news based on unbiased journalism on absolutely non-profit basis. We also act as voice of suppressed people, voice of opposition and also voice of many tortured people. The other media can not speak independently as almost all the media are either sold or suppressed by various threats”.“The reason I started this live talk show from US as by fabricated charges my website was blocked in various means and also various attacks upon other media houses are going on. The opposition can’t speak out. Thus, it’s my duty to aware the state how the crimes are functioning behind the political faces and that’s why the talk show is. In Tripura if you raise any voice people will arrest you immediately”, he added.

Till now 5 media houses have been affected in BJP’s terror. Few cases are going on in the High Court against the Govt.

Till now 5 media houses came under BJP's red-eyes : 1) Channel Din Rat, 2) Tripurainfoway.com, 3) daily Desher Katha, 4) Mrinalini ENN, 5) Times Today. 

Three of them already were shutdown whereas Daily Desher Katha's circulations were abandoned and Tripurainfoway's social media page and the main website have been attempted to be blocked.

The attack was started on TIWN, since the webpage asked Chief Minister to display his BA / MA passed degree and instead of going in law’s path, Biplab Deb sent illegal letter to the US domain oftripurainfoway.com asking to shutdown it, however failed to fool Americans yet.
