AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN): After relaxation also, all the terminated teachers out of terminated 10323 teachers will not be eligible to sit in TET exam.
After Central Govt gave approval of relaxation in B.Ed, only 5388 teachers out of 10323 teachers would be able to sit in exams.Regarding the rest of the terminated teachers, the Govt hasn’t decided anything yet.
Before the election, BJP assured that 10323 teachers’ futures will be secured, but now if few of the teachers are selected also, they will not get their previous years job benefits.However over thousand teachers out of terminated 10323 teachers already got jobs through TET exams and recruited in last 2 years.
The 10323 teachers lost their jobs in High Court and Supreme Court due to irregularities in their appointments back in 2009-10.
The relaxation approved for B. Ed and D. El. Ed and those who secured 50% or 45% in their 12th exam or Graduation (SC/ST and UR candidates) they can appear for TET.
