AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): Biplab Deb led BJP’s terror machinery paralyzed democracy as daily murders, attacks on opposition continue under the nose of lameduck Police Administration. Even though a huge section of media have been successfully suppressed by the ruling BJP with threats and pressures, except few mouthpieces, but maximum media houses fueling in resentment against the dictatorship of the Govt. There are also ongoing moral battles in Tripura’s highest circulated Bengali newspaper but till now Biplab Deb has controlled the base of it, whereas few of the neutral journalists were sent for holiday, such allegations are coming. When such chaos are going on, 5 media houses were directly came under BJP Govt’s rage who have prepared legal battle against the dictator Govt. In case of Tripurainfoway.com (TIWN), Govt led blocking of website yet could not bring the effect much due to readers enthusiasm to read TIWN website, but also legal battle are set on this ground. Biplab Deb led attacks in media, has been widely exposed, nationally became viral but ahead of Lok Sabha election, the Govt is not leaving any stone unturned to control media houses and to buy newspaper editors and the buying are more by threats, in comparison of money-exchange.Tripura in two years set two types of media movements which started in CPI-M era with two journalists murders in 2017 and then almost all journalists directly protested against the then Manik Sarkar’s Govt.

But the true movement has been started now after few months of the election when BJP’s politics with journalists murders were exposed and the party numbed CBI for investigation, specially in the first journalist Santanu Bhoumik murder case where the main accused are none other than BJP’s ally IPFT.

Question raised, the way “we” protested in front of the then Chief Minister Manik Sarkar’s residence, burnt press jackets, is it possible to do under he present Govt ? Answer of which Govt has been more democratic lies here.

7-days-long hunger strike, protest before Secretariat and gherao of Chief Minister’s residence are now beyond imagination under this Dictator-rule.

The worst outcome of the BJP Govt has been seen when Chief Minister Biplab Deb and BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhomwik started war against media and after exposing Pratima Bhowmik, she managed fabricated case against the editor of Times Today after he wrote various news with accurate data about her. If she Pratima Bhowmik not wrong and the editor was wrong, why she could not dare to file a defamation case against him, rather than filing case though Mohila Morcha leader ?

Pratima Bhomwik also various times illegally entered DM offices, held meeting, ordered how to do Govt works, attended Govt programmes as guests which never happened earlier in Tripura, resulting there is no difference between BJP party and BJP govt now has left in Tripura.

From Election Commission to Police all are now openly acting as BJP agents. It’s not only allegation of opposition but exposed truth.

Apart from that Tripurainfoway.com, Mrinalini ENN, Daily Desher Katha, Channel Din Raat have been engaged in open battle with Biplab Deb Govt for continue broadcasting and circulations.
