NAGPUR, Dec 2 (TIWN): Ganeshpeth Police have lodged an FIR against unknown man for raping a 30 years woman at there. The victim is a resident of Tripura.

She was raped in the shrubs near Nagpur Railway Station.

She was travelling from Coimbatore to Tripura in a train with her friend. She was working in a company at Coimbatore, where she resigned recently and was travelling back to her home.

When the train stopped at Nagpur railway station, her friend abandoned her and was nowhere to be found.

She had come down of the train and the train left. They she sought a man’s help to take her to police station, but by promising her to take her to police station she was raped in an isolated place.

The victim anyhow reached the main road and few people saw her, took her to police station.
