AGARTALA / GANDACHERA, Dec 1 (TIWN): No more democracy is existing in Tripura as false cases now have been started to be lodged against opposition activists to shutdown their voice. CPI-M held massive protest led by MP Jitendra Chaudhury as after various party offices were attacked, vandalized, candidates were threatened, physically tortured, instead of taking action against them, Police have lodged fabricated FIRs against victims. A massive protest rally was conducted at Gandachera with slogans of "Restore the Democracy, arrest the culprits".MP Jitendra Choudhury condeming the increasing attacks upon party members said, "CPI-M held a protest rally against attacks of CPI-M party offices and individual houses on 23rd night at there by BJP hoodlums. Not a single arrest to the culprits yet rather police fabricating false cases against the victims". (On 23rd night at Gandachera, Bisramganj and few other places suffered from BJP's brutal political attacks in houses and also in party offices).

Now, as the nomination submission has been started CPI-M candidates were attacked brutally at Jirania, Ranir Bazar. Party leader Pabitra Kar has blamed the West District Police administration for the attack and mentioned SP Ajit Pratap Singh all knew about the pre-plan attack on the CPI-M candidates.

Police escorts were also attacked and CPI-M candidates could not submit nominations today due to the brutal attack at Jirania, Ranir Bazar area. CPI-M also has slammed the Election Commission for its failed control on the law and order here.

Another Bijoy Borua was injured brutally by BJP Yuva Morcha activists and left him psychologically effected, who has committed suicide. The family has been devastated, unable to voice for justice for their son.

MP Jitendra Chaudhury has demanded action against all culprits involved in each such incident and removal of those innocent persons against whom police have filed false cases.
