Opposition walks out Tripura Assembly after speaker prevented CPI-M MLA from addressing about BJP sponsored Violence

AGARTALA, Nov 26 (TIWN): Opposition CPI-M has walked out the Assembly on Day-2 after speaker Biswabandhu Sen stopped CPI-M MLA Sudhan Das while addressing against the ongoing various violence in the state sponsored by BJP The speaker said that as the issue is now being seen by Chief Minister Biplab Deb under his Home Ministry, thus there is no need of mentioning about such issues and to waste time. The opposition then raised question on the democratic rights and right of speech but as the speaker was unready to listen then, all the opposition MLAs walked out the Assembly. When they were leaving the Assembly, then from behind Law Minister Ratan lal Nath told the speaker, "Let them Go as they have party programmes". Das was mentioning about the ongoing violence under BJP era and said how Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar was also arrested.

Total 485 Leftist Party offices have been burnt from March 3rd to October 31st. From Govt side 164 party offices have been bulldozed. Trade Union offices in total 191 numbers have been attacked and 21 were broken. Apart from party offices 50 shops were broken, 2346 houses were burnt, attacked, 226 shops were attacked, loot incidents held in total 227 numbers, rubber gardens burnt 56, car/ bike burnt 67, 1284 people were attacked, 173 were hospitalized with severe injuries, 5 CPI-M party members were killed.

BJP's attacks are going open, followed "No Arrest" even after viral videos of culprits are on media. When BJP's goons are openly attacking the opposition party leaders, Party President who is also Home Minister cum Chief Minister both Biplab Deb has silent on this issue as all the violence have been sponsoring by Biplab Deb.

CPI-M MLA Sudhan Das was mentioning about the recent attack on Manik Sarkar. Manik Sarkar was on the way to participate in a rally for November-Revolution at Bishalgarh, Sepahijala District that his vehicle was gheraoed, blocked from all sides and attacked, but police's immediate action controlled the situation temporarily and the rally anyhow completed, but while leaving from the rally MLA-Kamalasagar Narayan Chowdhury's vehicle was attacked heavily and broken. Tensed situations across the District centering CPI-M's meeting are existing.
