AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): On the occasion of 22nd State Conference of CPI-M, Party National General Secretary Sitaram Yechury took a dig in BJP's Ram-Politics, saying, religion and politics are both separate entities.

"Religion has its own place and Politics is separate. Religion is a personal faith which is not displayed. If I don't believe in God, then also it's my personal matter and religion is the relation between our soul and almighty. But the BJP is misusing the people's personal sentiment, generating hatred to win the game", Yechury said.

"BJP is hiring Lord Ram Ji as party tool and trains to other things are being named after Ram. This is simply a politics of hatred and to create unrest with political purpose. This situation is turning dangerous in UP, Kerala etc", he added.

Yechury further mentioned, BJP in its study of Ramayana, has forgotten the lesson of Mahabharata. (Ramayana and Mahabharata are Indian epics) Comparing whole BJP with  Mahabharata's Kaurava, Yechury said that The "Kaurav" which were hundred in numbers thought how 5 bothers of Pandav can never defeat them. Now BJP is asking who is alternative of Modi, but same they said during Vajpayee's time, but country got the alternative of Vajpayee. The proud "Kaurav" went to the battle field but who remembers rest of the brothers except Duryodhan & Dushasan ? In their party also two persons are most powerful like them : One is Narendra Modi and another is Amit Shah. Hence their terror regime will be ended".
