AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): On the 22nd State Conference of CPI-M, Party National General Secretary Sitaram Yechury has rewarded BJP with "Kauravas" title whereas called Prime Minister Narendra Modi as "Duryodhan" and BJP National President Amit Shah as "Dushasan". All the characters symbolises the evil rulers of ancient India according to an epic called "Mahabharata". Yechury was delivering his speech at Agartala Town Hall and said that whereas BJP is doing politics with Ramayan and Ram, it must remember Mahabharata's proud characters of Kauravas who never imagined that 5 Pandavs can defeat hundred brothers. Thanking the large gathering of CPI-M leaders, Yechury said, "I never though that in such large numbers comrades will be gathered today here amid massive attacks, ongoing violence of BJP and RSS, but I am tremendously happy as well as now confident about CPI-M's victory in the war after seeing the huge crowd. With this strength we will be proceeding in the battle in democratic manner and that's our oath of the day".
"22nd State Conference is aimed to strengthen the party and to take oath to restore democracy. Across the world, our slogan is 'As far as our blood is red, this red flag will not be down', because we fight for the common men, poor and deprived. Till day we are fighting against capitalism", he added.
"Mob lynching, minor girls increasing rapes, murders----such inhuman crimes were never experienced earlier at such a level. This is a politics of Hatred of BJP", Yechury told comrades.
"Corruptions have been spiked up under Modi era led 59,000 crores of Rafale deal scam. BJP is against the constitution and how to destroy the democratic set up totally, the whole focus has been given at there".
Talking about the ongoing political scenario, Yechury said, "BJP can not go without weakening our pillars and we can not go without weakening them. So, in this strong battle, we have to move forward. As soon as election is coming closer, BJP is hiring Lord Ram Ji for party tool and trains to other things are being named after Ram. This is simply a politics of hatred and to create unrest with political purpose. This situation is turning dangerous in UP, Kerala etc".
"Religion has its own place and Politics is separate. Religion is a personal faith which is not displayed. If I don't believe in God, then also it's my personal matter and religion is the relation between our soul and almighty. But the BJP is misusing the people's personal sentiment, generating hatred to win the game", Yechury said.
The national CPI-M General Secretary also placed 3 agenda of CPI-M party for Lok Sabha Election before the party leaders, activists. The 3 oaths are :
1) To defeat the BJP,
2) To increase the numbers of MPs in Lok Sabha Election,
3) To make a secular, democratic Govt in the Centre.
"BJP today is proud of its power. But when they are using Lord Ram's name, they forgot about Mahabharata. The "Kaurav" which were hundred in numbers thought how 5 bothers of Pandav can never defeat them. Now BJP is asking who is alternative of Modi, but same they said during Vajpayee's time, but country got the alternative of Vajpayee. The proud "Kaurav" went to the battle field but who remembers rest of the brothers except Duryodhan & Dushasan ? In their party also two persons are most powerful like them : One is Narendra Modi and another is Amit Shah. But, when hand's five fingers are there, then jointly it can defeat the Kauravs too", Sitaram added.
