AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): Amid 32.2% unemployment rate existing in Tripura, ongoing recruitments have been cancelled, workless, foodless condition in hilly, rural areas, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has said that he feels proud as Tripura beat neighboring states in growth rates and above 820 private companies were opened. "Earlier, Tripura people were mocked wherever the went but now I can assure, Tripura people are praised, the state is becoming popular day by day. People today after seeing Tripura people say that these are the great people who have changed the state's economy by changing Govt. In 8 months Tripura's economy is growing like never before. As I am talking about self-dependency, at the same time Govt has given license to 840 industries. What was the previous Govt doing ?", Biplab deb said. CM further claimed that 4000 jobs have already been given.However, data says Tripura's unemployment rate which was 15% in the March months in 8 months it has gone at 32.2% which was never recorded by any state earlier. Not only Tripura tops in unemployment but in compare to other states Tripura's unemployment rate is huge.

BJP in Vision Document has promised 50,000 Govt jobs to be given within March-2019, which BJP found vacant before the Election.

Instead of recruiting, BJP Govt has cancelled all existing recruitments. Most surprisingly Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) which is autonomous body, has cancelled many recruitments, which were going since two years.

Law College under Education (Higher) Department, Govt. of Tripura, 2) Statistical Inspector, under Labour Department, Govt. of Tripura, 3) Inspector of Factories in the Factories & Boilers Organization under Labour Department, Govt. of Tripura, 4) Scientific Officer under PWD (DWS), Govt. of Tripura, 5) Inspector of Boilers in the Factories & Boilers Organization under Labour Department, Govt. of Tripura, 6) Principal, Technical (Engineering) Degree College (i.e. TIT) Tripura under Education (Higher) Department, Govt. of Tripura,7) Curator, Tripura State Museum under the Education (Higher) Department, Govt. of Tripura, 8) Principal, College of Teacher Education (CTE) under the Education (Higher) Department, Govt. of Tripura, 9) Lecturer, Diploma Level Technical Institutions in Tripura Under Education (Higher) Department, Govt. of Tripura, 10) Sub-Inspector of Excise under Excise organization, Finance Department, Govt. of Tripura, 11) Agriculture Officer TAFS under the Department of Agriculture, Govt. of Tripura.
