AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): When whispers were "on" that Social Welfare Minister Santana Chakma may lose her Ministry, a big blow for Chief Minister Biplab Deb's gang as Minister Santana Chakma has rushed to Astabal Stadium on Monday morning to "clean" the stadium, where the Northeast Youth Festival was held. She was accompanied by few Mohila Morcha supporters and also another tribal backed organization. The tribal organization before media complained that intentionally various casts were excluded for the managing committee of the Northeast Youth Festival 2018. After crores of scams had exposed in Northeast Youth Festival 2018, now it has taken another critical turn after Biplab Deb and Pratima Bhowmik excluded the youngest Ministers like Santana Chakma from the inaugural programme as well as kept her away from the Committee.

After the youth festival ended, Minister Santana Chakma held Swachh-Bharat-Abjiyan at there and tribal youths who came with her told media, "Even though we not not called by the BJP Govt, but we have come to clean this Govt property which was created by our kings. 184 kings of us had ruled this state but today we are sidelined. From District level to State level nowhere our tribal people were invited to be in the organizing committee". 

Being asked Santana Chakma she didn't mention about any 'division' but just said, 'following the 4 days long programme the field has become dirty' and thus 'cleanliness was necessary'.  

However, it was not only Santana Chakma who was sidelined by Biplab Deb conducted Youth Festival 2018, but even followers of most popular Minister Sudip Barman also said that he was intentionally kept apart from the inaugural programme. This youth festival also coulndn't give any proper programme list to the media. 

Northeast Youth Festival 2018, held in Tripura came under charges of various corruptions and out of them one is making-chappati by using legs (not hands) for the Northeast artists which is going viral now.

In another revelation, on yesterday it was exposed by CPI-M social media page how after inviting artists to visit Neermahal, Tripura Govt had imposed ticket fares for the young artists to enter Neermahal.In the food arrangement, huge corruptions were exposed in Northeast Festival whereas VIP tickets were sold in “black”.

Opposition Congress had demanded judicial investigation into the matter and accused Chief Minister Biplab Deb solely responsible behind the scams. Northeast Youth Festival 2018 started from November 15, participated by 8 Northeast States artists.
