PANISAGAR, Nov 16 (TIWN): CPI-M's tribal wing Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP) organized rally at Panisagar in demand of food and work, also was participated by huge numbers of local tribal men, women counterattacking the fears of BJP, IPFT.

Out of pressures, many common men failed to participate in that rally, whereas a huge numbers of common people still came in protests re-welcoming red-flags in hands. Before the Election with various fake promises, maximum tribal vote banks went in IPFT, BJP's favour but since the election ended work, food crisis have hit the ADC areas.

The massive protest was organized at Khedchara area under Panichara subdivision with slogans of "give work", "give food". 

It can be noted here that acute work, food crisis have hit the rural areas. Before the election it was said that Rs. 340 will be wage and Rs. 2000 will be social pension. But now forget about Rs. 340 out of Rs. 177, sometimes they are not getting Rs. 77. Durga Puja's two days work are even pending. Indeed, MGNREGA which gave 100 days work to poor, it has been almost stopped in Tripura since BJP came in power leading food crisis, dry-economic condition.
