AGARTALA, Nov 13 (TIWN): Like every year "Yuva Utsav" to be kicked off to connect the North States culturally and this time on the occasion of 6th Yuva Utsav the venue has been set at Agartala.

In a press conference Tripura Sports Minister Manoj Deb said, "Every year Sports Dept holds Yuva Utsav and out of any 8 States in the Northeast India, one State is selected. This year Tripura has been selected in the venue. The aim of the programme has remained cultural exchanges among Northeast States".

The programme to be conducted for November 15 to November 19. Eight states as Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland,Sikkim, and Tripura will participate in that programme.

The Sports Minister mentioned, it will be great opportunity for Tripura to represent own culture, tradition in a huge platform. At least 1000 participants will take part in this programme representing Tripura. Tight security arrangements will be set during the programme. 

On 16th October Bengali Fossils Band will be performing in Astabal stadium, whereas on October 18 singer Alka Yagnik will sing songs.
