Statewide BJP's plan-wise terror continues attempts to bend opposition : Party offices destruction, physical attacks upon opposition leaders increasing under Biplab Deb, Pratima Bhowmik gang

AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb, State BJP General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik who have been silent after each violence adding blaming the opposition parties behind BJP sponsored violence is murdering the democracy everyday. It was Pratima Bhowmik who announced murders of CPI-M leaders during post-poll time as "suicide". BJP led sponsored violent attitude with opposition party leaders and the continuous silence of Biplab Deb are leading brutal attacks upon the opposition party leaders, activists in state. Earlier, in rallies BJP activists were seen engaged in open violence, stone pelting whereas no action was taken against any of the miscreants. During poll nomination paper submission even after viral videos of BJP's violence in Dukli and other blocks led by party MLAs, the Chief Minister who is also the Home Minister had maintained silence.

Now, even after the attack held by BJP upon MP Jitendra Chaudhury entering CPI-M's party office, from State Govt no statement was given in this regard and MP Jitendra Chaudhury said that without BJP top leaders signal such a pre-plan activity can not take place. At Bisharamganj CPI-M Party office beside National Highway has been attacked, windows are being broken and breaking the locks BJP goons entered the party office, thew all the party flags before the party office. 

On October 31st, opposition CPI-M held a massive protest rally on Wednesday voicing against 'Jungle Raj' of the BJP Govt. The protest was initiated after CPI-M South District leader Tapas Datta was attacked by BJP.The incident occurred centering a destruction of monument of CPI-M martyr Ma Mohini Mohon.  CPI-M also had lodged a complaint in the police station. 

Following the ongoing attacks upon opposition parties, Tripura CPI-M's one of the topmost leaders Badal Choudhury in an interview with TIWN claimed, Tripura has lost its democracy totally in last 8 months.  Badal Choudhury said, "BJP's policy of No-Opposition, no contest is not expected. In democracy such things can not continue".

On October 28, stone pelting, attack incident  took place in CPI-M's rally at Belonia, South Tripura when CPI-M was protesting against Rafale deal scam. BJP activists were seen carrying stones and sticks on hands and running after the rally with a terror attack left around 20 CPI-M activists injured, 14 serious. This attack has been exposed as a pre-plan attack of BJP upon the opposition and almost all the media, newspaper have reported this attack as "BJP led attack". Through facebook it has been known, BJP activists after attacking CPI-M were engaged in massive propaganda of the violence launched by them. The posts made it clear that the attack was done by BJP activists planwise. 

In the mean time, MP Jitendra Chaudhury was attacked twice in last 15 days by BJP. The first attack took place during his visit at Satchand block and on yesterday the second attack took place when Chaudhury was in a meeting at Ambassa. A party meeting was conducted at Amabssa where MP Jitendra Chaudhury was attending, but all of a sudden few BJP goons led by BJP District leader Apu Deb, Mandal leader Ratan Sutradhar, Badal Bhattacharjee, Laltu Saha attacked the MP and other CPI-M members in the meeting. At around 25 BJP activists entered the room and started using slang language and physically attacked few CPI-M activists who were present there. At the end the meeting had to be stopped.

MP Jitendra Chaudhury said, "BJP should not forget that after 5 years once again election will be held and on that time BJP will burn itself in its own fire. Already they (BJP) now is isolated from masses. BJP's frustration is resulting from its failure in each sector including unemployment problems to mass poverty".
