Kamalpur, Sept 26 (TIWN): Heavy showers on the eve of Puja paused the life and caused a great panic for the local merchants, here, at Kamalpur. Rain became a daily matter since a week or two. As a result the life became unable to gain its full momentum even four days before the festival.

The local merchants here became the most severe prey to this situation. Taking advantage of better connectivity people often ply to Agartala for their Puja marketing as the chain- stores like Big Bazaar or Metro Bazaar are alluring people with attractive schemes and benefits. Adding more to it , the nature now shut people in the houses. According to Hindu mythology this year Goddess Durga  is heading towards Earth from Kailasa by boat and this is to bring prosperity for us. But it is a irony that, the merchants here are still in search of it. The organizers even found it hard to make up all the preparations nicely due to this showers.
