AGARTALA, Oct 12 (TIWN): 5 members team of CPI-M delegates met the High Power Committee of BJP-IPFT Govt (which was made by Central Home Ministry aimed to develop socio-economic-cultural sides of Tripura tribals) on Thursday and placed certain demands.
CPI-M raised these following demands :
1) Continuation of various developmental works including road expansion pending works,
2) Proper recruitment of ST and non-ST unemployed youths under State and Centre vacancies, proper utilization of skill development project, small industries development including Agro-based industry,
3) 2 lakh 29 thousands patta even though has been given but centre has not released any fund. So, CPI-M demanded releasing of funds as fast as possible,
4) To make unfertilized lands as usable,
5) Bamboo Board's establishment,
6) 200 days works under MGNREGA in tribal areas.
