AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): Smuggling mafia’s rampant Saffron party, Internal clashes among ruling BJP activists are increasing day by day. Clash among BJP activists have led heavy chaos in Akhaura Checkpost in Ram Nagar area on Wednesday afternoon. The issue was erupted after BJP Mandal and another BJP group (closed to BJP MLA Surajit Datta) chased each other centering the business of 'export-import. From a small issue, the matter turned so worse that West Agartala Police led by OC-Subrata Chakraborty had to rush to the spot and took control in the worsening situation. Locals said, without BJP supporters opposition party backed people are unable to enter the citadel of the business here but now the BJP vs BJP fightings are leading chaos everyday. BJP Mandal members were saying, why there will be a separate group of an MLA instead of BJP guidelined Mandal ? (BJP guidelined Mandal phase is undemocratic, arbitrary however).
Again, the area is belong to Surajit Datta (BJP MLA) which have left the matter more critical. Police were forced to lathi charge, arrested 5 persons on spot and brought them for inquiry.
The main problem understood at the primary inquiry had occurred centering the vehicles movements as Mandal committee members asked Surajit Datta's team not to come by breaking rules. However, what kind of rule they meant it's unclear.
