UDAIPUR, Sep 30 (TIWN): When Chief Minister Biplab Deb gained media attention by giving strict warning to the club members against unruliness of chanda collection, but money extortion is going on even on the National Highway.

In the name of Kali puja, forceful money extortion before Udaipur District hospital from bikers and vehicle drivers by Tepania Block Chowmuhani Kalibaru Puja Committee has been continuing since few days, whereas Gomati District Administration is totally failed to control the situations even after Udaipur's Pragati Sangha's incident where a Class-7 tribal boy was beaten and threw in a big lake (Amar Sagar) under a sack and miraculously found alive in the morning. 

Without signature the Tepania Block Chowmuhani Kalibaru Puja Committee are giving receipt copies and if anybody denies they stop the vehicle, threatening them and finally forcing them to give money. 

Club members of Tepania Block Chowmuhani Kalibari Puja Committee written in the receipts are :

1) Nilkanta Debnath (President),

2) Maran Debnath (Secretary),

3) Biswajit Goswami (Cashier).

Such kind of Kali Puja are nothing but "Comedy Shows" under Hindutva coverage, defaming the culture of Tripura and also maligning the image of Hindu religion.
