AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Biplab Deb’s in average every week Delhi visits and returning with empty hands with “Transforming Tripura” JUMLA slogan left much FAKE Vision Document released by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, whereas when CM met Jaitley, he said, how can Centre sanction extra fund for Tripura whereas India has 28 states more. Every week Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s costly Delhi visits along with OSDs and advisors, Secretaries and friends have not at all helped Tripura people to get anything from Delhi, rather public taxes collecting from high fuel prices and other commodities are under waste. No other state’s Chief Minister go repeatedly to other states, rather they send officials or the Dept’s Minister but Tripura CM with various excused from health dept to education himself flies to Delhi, meets personally with the Central Ministers, Prime Minister whereas in return brining nothing. Instead of managing funds through continuous communications, Biplab Deb is flying to Delhi with full team but Modi has not sanctioned a single penny yet. Earlier PM Modi sanctioned around 500 crores for Tripura, but whereas those moneys were spent nobody knows.

No assurance has been received by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in 7th Pay Commission’s funding, even though Jaitley himself unveiled the Vision Document promising 7th pay commission form April month.

Rs. 1500 crores has been sought for 7th Pay Commission's implementation.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb as a part of his regular personal Delhi visit again has met also the Prime Minister and discussed on 7th Pay Commission.

State is surprised as one the one side Tripura Finance Minister said, Verma Committee didn’t give any report and as soon as report will come 7th Pay Commission will be given, Chief Minister Biplab Deb without Verma Committee’s report met Arun Jatley whereas Verma to submit report on December, which means Vemra already submitted report ?

Verma Committee two times crossed deadlines to submit reports and now the next date of report submission is till December.

Finance Minister of state Jishnu Debbarma said earlier, before Durga puja 7th pay commission will be given but till now July month’s DA couldn’t be given.

7th Pay Commission has been delayed till December, 2018 and also July month’s DA has been missed. When employees were waiting for 7th paycommission before Durga Puja, not even July month’s pending DA was given to the employees. As a result neither DA nor 7th Pay Commission was given to the employees led massive frustration among the Govt employees. Central Govt employees are protesting even after getting DA for two times recently but here in case of Tripura employees are afraid to raise voice. Resentments have been fueled among the govt employees as on Sep 10, when Strike remained 100 % successful in Tripura Govt to cut salaries of employees who failed to reach at offices on that day.

Before the election, BJP had promised to implement 7th Pay Commission for the Govt employees and the pensioners in the first cabinet meeting and from month of April they will count the hiked salary but after 6 months Verma Committee failed to submit 7th Pay Commission.

Moreover, GPF are not allowing to withdraw by the employees and social pensions of poor people are statewide halted. Many poor families are deprive of social pensions including 80 years old woman to widow woman.
