AGARTALA, Sep 21 (TIWN): Biplab Deb and his bootlicking corrupt OSD Dilip Roy's attempt to silence Tripura media so far successful with other media houses but failed to control TIWN's fearless Journalism, so today on a Govt Holiday,Biplab Deb's corrupt OSD Dilip Roy sent Police to TIWN office without any search warrants or papers.

TIWN staffs were threatened with dire consequences and asked to come to East Agartala Police Station.

Police came at around 1 pm couldn’t show any specific reason, neither any search warrant but threatened the Banamanipur office of Infoway newspaper, even though in the website it’s clearly written that Banamalipur office belongs to TRIPURA  INFOWAY NEWSPAPER is just for correspondence and the media partner and also it is clearly mentioned that TRIPURAINFOWAY.com is an US based media, no offices in India.

TIWN's fight against corruption, nepotism which were published for years in website state police under Ex-CM Manik Sarkar never dared to threaten Infoway or anyother newspaper office like this, but with a shocking disgust Biplab Deb’s regime of 6 months, Police terror has hit the media world.

However, when contacted SP Ajit Pratap Singh, he further referred West PS OC-Subrata Chakraborty, who called weekly newspaper journalists and engaged in meaningless questions how to contact the website owner, whereas in the website all are clearly written including the name and address.

CPI-M’s police now turned BJP police even though couldn’t stand for police’s dignity when BJP MLA Ram Prasad Pal like goonda threatens an SDPO and says "Police do not make Law, rather Politicians make Law", but the same Police are after non-profitable website which fights for public rights including Police’s much awaited 7th Pay Commission.

TIWN condemns Police attack to shutdown TIWN, also for Biplab Deb and Dilip Roy's information, in CPI-M era Chief Minister Manik Sarkar tried to shut down TIWN many times but TIWN only turned more strong and powerful. 

TIWN will continue its fearless Journalism, even if Biplab Deb's mafia terror shuts down Banamalipur office, still TIWN will continue its fearless Journalism .
