AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Reacting on BJP's allegation that only "new BJP" activists who joined in BJP after 3rd March are doing all violence, CPI-M's one top leader Gautam Das said on Friday, "If all activists of BJP who are engaged in massive violence are from CPI-M, joined later why no action has been taken against them?"

Noteworthy, in case of Dukli block TIWN had published videos, photos which clearly shows the faces involved in violence but till now no action was taken against any of them.

Out of 35 blocks, in total 28 blocks opposition couldn't submit nominations, which itself proves how much of rigging was conducted across Panchayat blocks.

"The mode and tune of election has changed in this state. Earlier in Tripura people voted amid celebrations but BJP has murdered Democracy in this by-election. Even BDOs were not allowed to hold meetings with all parties. State Election Commission also couldn't play role neutrally", said Gautam Das in a press meet today at Melarmath Party office.
