AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Left Parties (CPI-M,CPI, RSP,Forward Bloc) have termed the by-election nomination submission period as farcical as out of 35 blocks only in 7 blocks oppositions could submit nominations.
The Left Party delegates on Friday have also met State Election Commission G K Rao demanding to defer the Panchayat by-election, demanding to "defer" and "re-schedule" the whole Election procedure.
CPI-M leader Gautam Das, Sudarshan Bhattacharjee from RSP, Ranjit Majumder of CPI, Raghunath Sarkar of Forward block BY conducting a press conference said, state election commission is not taking role neutrally due to restrictions of BJP led State Govt.
