Ambassa, September 18 (TIWN): As the blockade of the NH-44 produced no result, the common people of Ambassa today gheraod the CMO, Dhalai to stay the transfer of Ayurvedic doctor Ashok Debbarma to Kailashahar. SDPO Chiranjib Chakraborty rushed to the spot and controlled the situation. Dr. Sanjoy Biswas promised the agitators that he would take the matter to higher authorities and the gherao was ended. It may be mentioned here that, Dr. Ashok Debbarma was transferred to Kailashahar on 7th September after twelve years of service at Amabassa.
