AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): Colourful celebration of 72nd Independence Day failed to left any message for Jungle-Raj mindsets. Revengeful attitude of the society against young generation, especially girls and women was displayed before dozens of media persons, when locals of Agartala Indranagar area assassinated character of few youths without any proof and evidence. When Tripura is dreaming for being world-famous, sending its queen-pineapple to abroad, savage culture of a section of people are hitting the human rights each day from open beating of women in Bishalgarh market to this particular incident. Locals of Indranagar have sent couples and their friends in police station and in front of media they (locals) used various odd languages while questioning them about their 'characters'. Total 3 girls and 5 boys are victims of the incident. Not only this, one local ruling party leader before media claimed that they found various items including drug items in their room, whereas police have strictly denied the allegation of locals when asked by media in the NCC police station.

The couple was married against their families' wish and was residing in the house of Dilip Modok in rent at Indranagar. But locals got much interested whether it is a 'marriage' or 'living together' or 'sex racket' case. 

Is 'living together' illegal in India ? Still, if anything wrong was going on, without damaging the images of the girls and boys the locals could silently call police, but in this case the locals had called media via telephone. However, police have clearly said, the youths were brought to save them from mob-violence in Indranagar.

SDPO Druba Nath said, "Actually they were in rent in Dilip Modok's house. The couple was accompanied by four friends and relatives who were actually residing in hotels earlier, but recently they started to live there on temporary basis. But the local people had suspected the ongoing inside the house. Getting informed today from locals, just to save the youths from any any violence we have brought them here in this police station. Now we verifying facts". 

The SDPO also said, no suspecting item was found from that room.

But question is what was the necessity of calling media at there ?

Does the local ruling party activists are trying to become big leaders and thus in attempt to highlight ownself, have devastated the youths lives ? Especially young girls ?
