Tripura State Transport Dept's Error-full Charts leading everyday fights among passengers, auto drivers : Two types of Fare charts pasted in Auto-Stand & Autos, Transport Dept officials in slumber

AGARTALA, Aug 8 (TIWN): Negligence of State Govt Transport Dept officials leading wastage of Common Men's valuable times everyday in the State with excess passenger fare issues. "Monitoring" of issues by Govt Dept has become a dream for the passengers but even the charts provided by Transport Dept on fare rates are full of mistakes and errors. Sufferings, wastage of valuable times of public each day heading mass-resentments. When bus passengers are fighting over the mini buses, ordinary buses classification related arguments with the conductors, Tripura Transport Dept led mistakes are harassing auto passengers each day. On Wednesday verbal clashes erupted again among the auto drivers and passengers of Amtali, Nagerjala route as in the signboard at the Auto-Stand at there one type of chart has been listed whereas in the autos different types of chart were pasted. Whereas in the chart listed in the auto stand in Nagerjala it is clearly written that till Amtali fare will be Rs. 14, but the auto drivers are taking Rs. 15. When asked by the passengers, they have shown the chart which was pasted by Transport Dept on their autos.

With that issue massive quarrel erupted in the Nagerjala between lady passenger and auto drivers. 

However, in case of buses also there is no checking of issues and regarding mini bus and ordinary bus definitions,  arguments among passengers and drivers are continuing. 

Even though Udaipur Agartala fare is only Rs. 37 in Mini-Bus, but the Ordinary Buses are also taking Rs. 40 rupees from the passengers. 

State's present Transport Minister is Pranajit Singha Roy. Passengers have urged the Transport Dept to solve the issues.
