AGARTALA, July 30 (TIWN): As RSS led a massive influence before 2014’s Lok Sabha Election on the basis of Nationalism, Congress has also decided to uplift its Seva Dal, but with a different tune of Nationalism with ‘Secularism’ to fight back ‘Hinduism’.

The Seva Dal is the grassroots front organization of the Indian National Congress. The organization has a chapter in all the states of the Indian Union. The members of the organization are known for wearing the Gandhi topi.

All India Congress Seva Dal Chief Organiser Lalji Desai who has arrived here in Tripura on Monday said, “It was Seva Dal, who made country’s Independence possible and fought back all communal stings. Seva Dal waved the Tiranga and downed British flag”.

“India is known about its unity. There should be no politics of Hindu, Muslim or any cast base, religion base”, he said.

“Seva Dal has raised slogan ‘Desh-Ka-Jhanda-Tiranga, Nehi Chalenga Doranga’. You know who is Doranga……”, Desai told media adding that on August 9 there will be a “Tiranga March” across India.
