AGRTALA, July 25 (TIWN): Amra Bangali, a political organization which was weakened after peace was restored in state, has woke up again when IPFT in alliance with BJP is demanding Tipraland, a separate land for tribals.

Opposing NRC’s proposal and voicing against the ongoing tortures upon Bengalis at Assam under the Sonowal Govt, Amra Bangali held a massive protest here in Agartala.

Quoting former Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, Amra Bangali activists claimed that it was said during partition that whenever minority from East Pakistan will enter in India, they will be welcomed.

The agitators also raised voice saying,   ‘If leaving mother-land for survival is sin, who will punish country dividers ?

Amra Bangali places few points during the protests as :

1. Join in protest against NRC,
2. Join in protest against Tripura’s division,
3. Bring overall development and the socio-economic-cultural development should be for all.
