AGARTALA, July 19 (TIWN): With a hitting remark against CPI-M Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, incumbent BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb has labeled Manik Sarkar below Satan.

Addressing media here in Bodhjungnagar on Wednesday CM said, “What Mnaik Sarkat was done was worse than Satan’s activity in case of rapid spreading of ganja business in Tripura”.

“Just for show off, few drives against ganjas took place in Manik Sarkar’s time but when he asked in the Assembly about how many of smugglers were arrested, he said only 1”, Biplab Deb said.

Being asked on the move of police against peddlers, Biplab Deb said, “Above 100 people have been arrested under BJP Govt in last four moths”.

CM further informed Tripura has 1 lakh kg of ganja stocks and 20,000 kg has been seized already”.
