AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): CPI-M likely to raise Tripura Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath led rumour mongering issue in the Parliament, which has been already viral across social media.

The video of Tripura Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath proves, how the Minister had spread a romour on ‘Kidney-smuggling’ while briefing before media following a death of 11 years child Purna Biswas on June 26 at the Minister's own constituency Mohanpur and on June 28 the mob-lynching had started, whereas many were beaten on June 27.

Being asked whether as MP, he will raise the ‘source’ of rumour before the Parliament, MP Jitendra Chaudhury said, “The Minister will surely come in reference to the mob-lynching episodes of Tripura”.

The issue was raised after Supreme Court on Tuesday condemned mob lynching incidents across the country and urged Parliament to enact a law to deal with the crime that threatens rule of law and the country's social fabric.

SC also made it’s clear that States hold the duty to maintain the law and order at there.

Welcoming the verdict, MP further condoled the lynching incident which killed 25 people in this country already.

“It’s very important to find out the source of the rumours because it has been seen that the people who  are in power themselves have been engaged in rumour mongering and unfortunately Minister Ratan Lal Nath till day has not apologized for delivering wrong statement”, Jitendra Choudhury told TIWN.
