AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed, his one phone call to Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal brought Agartala-Deoghar Express in Tripura.
CM was addressing in a press conference on Sunday at CM’s quarter when he said so.
CM through media was advising his oppositions saying they should stop protesting and if possible to help the govt or do the work by their own.
CM said, “Since 25 years they were just protesting and now the Leftists should stop protesting. I did just a single phone call and the recently flagged of Agartala-Deoghar express arrived in Tripura. So, the oppositions should stop protesting”.
Agartala-Deoghar Express has been flagged off on Friday at 2.32 pm by Union Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain in the presence of BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar, Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MP Jharna Das Baidya, MP Shankar Prasad Datta, Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan and other MLAs and dignitaries who attended the programme.
