AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): Union Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain on Friday on the occasion of flag-off ceremony of Agartala-Deoghar express said,Tripura is day by day developing and surely it will bloom as a developed state.

“PM Modi is doing at his level best for the Northeast and Tripura’s 5th train is a part of it”, Gohain said.

“Tripura has lot of potentialities and I believe state govt wll fulfill its target to emerge the state as a model-state”, Gohain added.

"PM Modi had determined to develop Northeast. Today we have broad gauge. Only at Sikkim, we couldn't launch BG service due to land acquisition problems. Tripura is undergoing tremendous changes, development due to Railway expansion and I can see that", said Gohain.

" Today across the country Railway is expanding its network, laying tracks to connect, join all the States", said Gohain.

"Within 2019 all Northeast states' capitals to be joined with BG connection", the Minister added.
