AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): Congress leader Gopal Roy on Friday picked up 7th Pay Commission issue which is still under process of Verma commission.

Gopal Roy said, the govt employees who were almost dancing while voting for BJP yet to get 7^th Pay Commission after four months of the BJP Govt formation.

Addressing in a press conference, Gopal Roy said, “BJP Has chosen to hang the fulfillment of demands and to keep the vote banks with them with fake-hopes but nothing is happening when it comes about reality. It means the govt is trying to cross their vessel safe till Lok Sabha Election, but Tripura people are intelligent enough to catch their intentions”.

“The Verma commission was formed for 7^th Pay Commission’s implementation and within 3 months the committee was to place its report. However, on that time Chief Minister Biplab Deb said within 1 and half month the 7^th Pay Commission’s report has to be delivered by Verma Commission, but when 4 months are going, the 7^th Commission related report has so far not submitted”, Gopal Roy told media.

The Congress leader further expressed confidence saying BJP Govt hardly can fulfill its promises.

However, state govt has been strict to its promise saying, “All the promises in vision document will be fulfilled soon”.
