AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): Total 8 people arrested in the Sukanta Chakraborty murder case (in Kalachara, South Tripura).

Yesterday, another killer Sunil Tripura was detained by police and taken to Santirbazar, South Tripura. On 4th July, police had arrested Gangacharan Tripura and Krishna Debnath.

First 4 accused not in jail custody, Gangacharan and Krishna Debnath is in 4 days police remand. Hiren and Sunl will be produced to Sabroom court, today.
During initial investigation, police had arrested 4 killers.

Yesterday, one killer Hiren Tripura was apprehended by police in Belonia, from Belonia college hostel. Hiren is a first year student in Belonia College.

However, it was not an easy way around for police to arrest him
