43 years of Indira Gandhi led ‘Emergency’ : BJP observes ‘Black Day’ in Tripura

AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): To mark the 43rd anniversary of the Emergency imposed by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975, the BJP has observed "black day" on Tuesday here in Agartala.
The BJP leaders of the state said, there was no necessity of imposing emergency on that time.
Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, National spokesperson of BJP also joined the programme. He has arrived in the state in a one-day visit.
On this occasion PM Modi tweeted, “To mark the 43rd anniversary of the Emergency imposed by former prime minister Indira Gandhi in 1975, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will observe a "black day" on Tuesday”.
