AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): The unseated CPI-M has claimed whereas in CPI-M’s era Tripura was in top position of MGNREGA works, under the BJP Govt is has downed at 22nd position.

CPI-M has claimed in CPI-M’s time in case of MGNREGA mandays, state was always topping, whereas in last 100 days the state has ranked behind 21 more states.

Earlier, Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma said, BJP Govt has given over 10 lakhs jobs in last 2 months.

Comparing the mandays with CPI-M era, Deputy CM said, under CPI-M Govt in 2017, up to 31st March the mandays was only 6.49 lakh but in compare with their time BJP Govt created over 10 lakhs mandays. 

In reply to Jishnu Debbarma’s claim MP Jitendra Choudhury said the actual calculation will reveal that 10 lakhs jobs for over 6.6 lakh people can’t even fulfill 2 days of MGNREGA work to each person.
