AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): The Paradise Chowmuhani to TRTC road at Agartala city has been named after Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, who was the founder of BJP.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb unveiled the road named after Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on the occasion of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s death anniversary.
Earlier, this road was known as IGM or VM road unofficially.
This is the second area which has been dedicated for Shyama Prasad Mukherjee after BJP came in power as earlier Minister’s VIP road which was in CPI-M’s time known as ‘Marx Engels Soroni’ was converted into "Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Lane".
