Passing rate falls heavily in TBSE Madhyamik

AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Election season held TBSE Madhyamik exam result has been surprisingly pathetic with only 59.59 % passing rate.

The TBSE result was published on Tuesday with 59.59 % passing rate, a heavy fall from last year’s 67.38 %.

Total 3,5926 students appeared in Madhyamik and the passed out students numbers are 21,408.

All together 17,503 male candidates appeared in the exam and 11.005 students passed. Passing percentage of male candidates is. 62.87 %

Total 18,423 female candidates appeared in the exam and 10,403 students have passed out. Passing percentage of male candidates is. 56.47 %.

This year Madhyamik topper is Akashdeep De, Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan HS School. Akashdeep got 486 marks in total.

Total 22 students are ranking in the top 10 positions.

 When rank holders are celebrating success, once girl student Mallia Debbarma who couldn’t pass in TBSE Madhyamik exam has committed suicide.

Mallika Debbarma, D/O-Raimohon Debbarma resident of Bisramganj under Sepahijala District hanged herself to death after getting exam results.
