Agartala, September 8 (TIWN): The poll campaign for the upcoming Manu By-Election will be ended soon which will be going to conducted on 13th September. In the meantime six political parties had submitted their nominations to contest for the Manu by-election doing the round. All 46 polling stations spread across 38 locations in the constituency are currently undergoing vulnerability assessment. Six companies of central armed police forces would be deployed for maintaining law and order and security in the forthcoming by-election of Manu.
The contesting parties had tried their heart and soul to make their mark. But the main contest will be taken place between ruling party CPIM and the opposition Congress. However Chief Minister Manik Sarkar had already geared up the supporters towards the victory. Congress on another hand continued their poll campaign. Yesterday CLP leader Sudip Roy Barman and other leaders attended a campaign organized at Manubazar. Briefing the supporters Mr. Barman urged them to cast their vote without any hesitation and fear. He says” Cast your vote freely. All the congress leaders and workers will be present at Sabroom and Jolaibari constituency to withdraw the problem faced by you”.
On the other hand BJP State President Sudhindra Dasgupta and other veteran leaders were also present at the meeting at Manubazar motor stand. Mr. Dasgupta assured the voters that if they cast their vote for BJP, like Narendra Modi, the state BJP will also bring all-round and fruitful development to Tripura.
It is to mention that the candidate of Manu By-election for CPM is Pravat Choudhury, Congress- Monfru Mog, BJP-Nirmal Tripura, and Trinamool-Anthai Mog respectively. Meanwhile eight monitoring teams were constituted by the election commission for the upcoming bypoll of Manu constituency scheduled to be held on September 13. The teams are –video surveillance team, video viewing team, accounting team, flying squad, static surveillance team, media certification and monitoring team, media expenditure monitoring control room and expenditure monitoring cell.
