AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb will inaugurate a Nature Park on World Environment Day at Lichu Bagan in Agartala.
Total 2 hectors of lands have been brought under the park, with Rs.1.2 crores have utilized for the park.
However, the name of the park yet to be announced.
A nature park or natural park is a landscape protected by means of long-term planning, use and agriculture. These valuable landscapes are preserved in their present state and promoted for tourism purposes.
This park will be inaugurated on June 5, i.e. World Environment Day. Today AMC Mayor Prafullajit Sinha, local MLA Dilip Das, BJP Yuva Morcha President Tinku Roy visited the spot.
World Environment Day occurs on the 5th of June every year, and is the United Nation's principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of our environment.
