UDAIPUR, June 1 (TIWN): One water tank at Bagbassa of Tepania Panchayat has left unutilized since many years, but the local authority has no concern to make it functional.

The tank under Tepania RD Block was constructed in CPI-M era, but left without any maintenance.

Locals alleged that not for a single day the water tank was used in local people’s service.

They also alleged, ahead of one of the Elections the water tank was constructed. Villagers even though raised the issue before the Panchayat but no action was taken in actual.

They are hoping that the new govt will bring the tank under function to mitigate the water crisis problems of the locals.
