AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): Auxilium Girls’ school Principal Celina D’Cunha was gheraoed by Congress’s student wing NSUI activists today during the school hour. However, the Principal met the NSUI activists and answered their all their queries. Referring Big Bazar incident the Principal said, ‘Lahari went to Big Bazaar and all the way from Agartala town she wasn't alone. I also asked her mother with whom she went ? Does she know that person with whom her daughter had gone ? In answer she said, No". The Principal also said, "I don't have any problem if Lahari's mother knows the person with whom she went. But there was a lot of disparity between the answer of the mother and the daughter”. However, NSUI leader Rakesh Das after meeting the Principal expressing doubt about her role said, the talks held with the School Principal is quite suspicious. Her claims are not satisfying the queries. The NSUI has demanded proper investigation and also action against all the people who were involved to push her for suicidal act. Addressing media, Rakesh Das said, “The whole incident is going like a cinema".

"We have lost our sister but investigation is going at very slow speed even after 5 days of the incident. NSUI will be with Lahari and will demand justice for her", he said.

"Whatever the school is saying it’s not upto the satisfaction level. But a school can not be closed as it’s the study centre of many students and their futures are connected with the school. But the staffs who are involved in that activity must be suspended and also should be punished”, the NSUI leader said.

Rakesh Das also charged state govt saying that CID is trying to suppress the actual incident. If within 48 hours the culprits are not arrested NSUI will go for bigger protest which will turn heavy upon the administration.

“NSUI also will take a bigger step next time but what will be the step exactly, it will be declared later. The incident took place on May 25 and today is May 30. But after 5 days of the incident nobody was arrested”, Rakesh Das said further warning the state govt that NSUI will go in massive protest if actions are not taken soon.
