UDAIPUR, September 6 (TIWN): Udaipur Remedy Higher Secondary School has been awarded as the Best School in Gomati District for the year 2014. In the Central programme of 53rd National Teachers' Day held in the Rabindra Centenary Hall of Agartala School Education Department has handed over the prize to the authorities of the school.

    It is to be mentioned that the decision for distribution of such prizes started from this year. And thus Ramesh School has become the first school in the Gomati District to receive such award. A visibly happy Teacher in Charge Sucharita Datta said, "Such award is the result of the collective responsibility of all- teachers, non-teaching staffs, students, parents and well wishers. This also demands more commitment from us to retain such prestige."

Speaking to TIWN Staff Council Secretary Dr Mridul Kanti Pal said," We are really happy to be honoured. At the same time we also hope that School Education Department will take immediate steps to sanction funds for the next phase of construction of the new building of the school."
