Agartala, September 6 (TIWN): Congress, Sonamura on Saturday blockade Sonamura-Baxanagar Road on the issue of political biasness of beneficiaries in the Food Security Bill. However blockade has been put off after 1hr.

Today afternoon at around 12.00 p.m Sonamura congress party started blockade in the Sonamura-Boxanagar Road. Government has to prepare a fair list based on the needs and not on political biasness-“ says local Congress leader.
However as a result of the protest daily passengers succumbed to suffer of the blockade. Long-route buses and other vehicles stands on both sides of the road. In the mean time police force and local leaders went there and talk to the protestors. After having assurance at last the blockade has been put-off after 1 hr.At the same time it is also mentioned that if this kind of biasness still exiats in
future, the movement will continue. It is to be mentioned that the food security bill will come into force from 1st October this year. Though CPIM State Secretary Bijan Dhar urged to Government to have proper distribution of commodities on the basis of crisis category,such kind of partiality is done by local leaders and supporters of the ruling party.
