AGARTALA, May 27 (TIWN): Tripura BJP State Observer Sunil Deodhar on Sunday while addressing at Rabindra Bhawan on the occasion of celebrating 4th anniversary of Modi Govt at Centre, said, "People in Tripura voted for BJP by trusting the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi".

"Unless and until Narendra Modi had become the Prime Minister of India, people didn't trust the BJP Govt.... it's a fact of Tripura's political history", Deodhar said.

"People in Tripura wanted a Modi-era. Before Modi became the Prime Minister he didn't meet  Tripura people. After becoming Prime Minister, Modi visited Tripura, launched projects for common men's welfare with a positive attitude and it was PM Modi 100 % responsible to influence voters to vote for the BJP", Deodhar added.

"People started hoping a Modi like Govt for Tripura and believed that such a leadership like Modi only can develop Tripura and fulfill the dreams of people", Sunil Deodhar added.

"Till Modi didn't became the Prime Minister, the voters in Tripura had been trusting Congress only. As a result during Lok Sabha Elections BJP couldn't influence people here but PM Modi's schemes, initiatives for development led people here to vote for BJP", Deodhar added.

Deodhar also added, in last four years against PM Modi and his cabinet not a single corruption charge could be alleged by the opposition.
