AGARTALA, May 27 (TIWN): Corrupt Vice Chancellor of Tripura University Anjan Kumar Ghosh was spotted while criticizing Governor Tathagata Roy after the Governor said during 11th convocation, 'All is not well in this University'.
This activity of the Vice Chancellor once again was equal of breaking protocol as a Govt official has no right to criticise the Governor in a programme.
Not only this, Anjan Kumar Ghosh also criticized media and journalists for exposing him again and again. It has been informed that by taking an Electronic media's name, Ghosh has slammed a journalist by name.
Noteworthy, Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy during his speech in the convocation hit the University Heads for their attempts of hiding ‘truths’ and ‘suppressing’ facts. Governor was offered with a ready-made script, which he denied to accept and thus delivered his own version in the 11th convocation of the University.
“It’s quite surprising, why there was no convocation in last 5 years ? It means all is not well in this University. Something, which you didn’t want to bring before the press, may be that was the reason as a convocation should be a continuous process”, Governor said.
The convocation turned worst after Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath was insulted by the University by stopping him in the middle of the speech in front of Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu. This incident was widely criticised by all sections of people, even opposition Congress also condemned the event asking Central Govt's interference in that issue.
After facing all these and spoiling the reputation of the University, instead of accepting guilt, the E-Book scam accused Vice Chancellor reacted against Governor and media for criticising him.
