The programme started at 6.30 am, performed by various dancing institutions.

A group of performer from 'Nritya Hridam' led by mentor Rahul Das presented a dance themed  on 'Sanghati' (unity), drew much attention. 

Tribal, Bengali attired girls with National flag symbolized patriotism on the occasion of Nazrul Jayanti under 'Nritya Hridam'. 

MLA Sahdi Chowdhury was present on that occasion as the Chief Guest. 

Kazi Nazrul Islam was a poet, musician and revolutionary who pioneered poetic works espousing intense spiritual rebellion against fascism and oppression. His poetry and nationalist activism earned him the popular title of Bidrohi Kobi (Rebel Poet). On his birth anniversary various colourful programmes were organized across Tripua.
