AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): Tripura Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Friday pinched the BJP Govt for its delays to fulfill the promises done in the Vision Document saying, "When CM to PM all are BJP, why funds are not coming from Central Govt ? It is quite surprising !"
"BJP's Vision Document was promised by the then Finance Minister Arun Jaitley himself. In this situation, why is Central not allocating enough funds immediately so that Tripura Govt can fulfill its Vision Document?", Sarkar said.
"If you are unable to convince the Central Govt for funds, we are ready to go with you at Delhi, but fulfill the Vision Document scripted promises immediately", Sarkar said.
"Before the election, BJP had promised, since the first cabinet meeting all the promises of Vision Documents will be fulfilled. The Vision Document was unveiled by the then Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley himself, but till now not a single promise they have fulfilled from unemployment issue to wages-increase. At Centre also the Govt is doing the same. What they had promised in 2014 didn't fulfill till day", Sarkar added.
