AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): No action has been taken against the corrupt Vice Chancellor Anjan Ghosh of Tripura Central University and his PR & Media Consultant Manas Pal & faculty Ashesh Gupta and the whole team who are running the University’s corrupt coterie. Even the opposition Congress demanded Central Govt’s immediate intervention to find out the actual culprits involved in Tripura University’s corruption and conspiracy to insult State Education Minister by not allowing his speech in 11th convocation. Whereas the University heads after the convocation blunder of insulting Education Minister, have formed an eyewash ‘Investigation Committee’, Congress has bluffed at the whole ‘drama of investigation’.

Congress spokesperson Harekrishna Bhowmik raised question, “How can those persons investigate who were themselves involved in the crime ?” “We have acknowledged everything from media and from our sources. The Education Minister was representing on behalf of the Chief Minister and he was intentionally insulted. Congress strictly condemn such type of incident”, the Congress leader said. 

“It was done by the intriguers who are running the University and everybody knows how much corrupt the Vice Chancellor himself is”, Bhowmik added.

“We do not demand any justice from the University heads, as they are the persons who have done the crime. We demand Central Govt’s intervention in that matter", he said. 

“MHRD should immediately and neutrally intervene and find out the culprits behind the crime. Insult of Education Minister was insult of 37 lakh people of Tripura”, Harekrishna Bhowmik added.

Noteworthy, Corrupt Vice Chancellor & his coterie in the name of investigation victimized an innocent rather than punishing culprits Manas Pal and Ashesh Gupta.

Tripura Central University Lecturer Jai Kaushal is suspended and all blames dumped on him after State Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath was insulted in Tripura University on yesterday by not allowing speech during the 11th convocation.
