Kamalpur, September 6 (TIWN):Acting on a tip of information, the ASI Goutam Pal of Kamalpur P.S. nabbed a murderer from Golakpur Tea Garden last night. According to police some Bijoy Tanti(32) of Madanpur, Mahabir under the P.S. was killed by the neighbor Sujit Karmakar and his two sons Gour and Nitai way back in 1992 regarding land disputes.

Police filed a case against the trio KMP PS Case no. 76/1992 u/s 447, 326, 302, 34 IPC. Then all the accused took shelter in Bangladesh where Gour Karmakar died according to the police. Then Sujit and Nitai returned India and took shelter in Lalchhera Tea Garden of Hailakandi, Assam. There Sujit died almost nine years ago. Then Nitai entered Tripura and started living at Golakpur Tea Garden, Kailasahar. He got married for the second time there. Acting on a tip off information, ASI Goutam Pal of Kamalpur Police Station along with police force from Kailasahar Police Station raided Golakpur at around 11 pm last night and booked Nitai. Today the SDJM Court of Kamalpur sent him to 14 days jail custody.
