AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): After 25 years of wait, now the power dept employees under ‘Tripura Bidyut Utpadok Sramik Sangha’ have demanded to provide all the facilities to them just like other state govt employees.

With 9 charter points of demands the employees have placed a deputation to the Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma on Wednesday.

Their demands are :

1. To Implement service rules for Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limt (TSECL) employees,
2. To plan the work manual and to implement them as soon as possible,
3. To start pension service for the employees,
4. To deduct the staff crisis situation,
5. To pay for extra works,
6. According to the court order on the case no-505 the pending arrears must be given soon,
7. Various workers are working as ‘helpers’ of TSECL employees. To appoint them with proper designation and to develop the service,
8. Die-in-harness should be same like other state govt employees
9. To fix the transfer rules.
